Inagi Green Cap Project
Under the themes of "Realizing a Sustainable Circular Local Community" and "Promoting Renewable Energy," we have registered with the city's "Adopt System" and conduct cleaning activities and water quality inspections of Omaru Irrigation and Kasayato Waterside Park. Additionally, as an educational activity for children,
SHIROYAMA EXPERIENCE STUDY INSTITUE holds the "Power Generation Waterwheel Parent-Child Assembly Workshop" and the "Power Generation Windmill Assembly Workshop" 2 to 4 times a year. In these workshops, renewable energy and marine pollution caused by plastics are explained using a projector.
Regarding renewable energy, with the city's permission, a demonstration experiment of a pico hydropower generator was conducted at Omaru irrigation canal, achieving an output of 140W. This power was used to light up LED illuminations at the "Minami-Tama Station Front Sparkling Project" event.
We plan to increase the number of members and expand our activities in the future.
