Overview of Licensed Childcare Center
For a list of Licensed Childcare Centers, please see the following page.
A Licensed Childcare Center is a facility that meets the national standards for licensed childcare centers, including room size, capacity, and the number of childcare workers. Licensed Childcare Centers are child welfare facilities that aim to care for infants and young children on behalf of their Parent or Guardian. Therefore, there are criteria for using a Licensed Childcare Center, which is limited to cases where the Parent or Guardian is unable to care for their child during the day due to work, illness, childbirth, or caregiving.
