Regarding the Cleaning of Nakajima Children's Park

Today, about eight people from the Senior Employment Center came to clean Nakajima Children's Park. Until recently, there was a zelkova tree in Nakajima Children's Park, and there were many fallen leaves. However, the tree was cut down, and now only a few small shrubs like Enkianthus perulatus remain in the park. It seems that the same number of people and the same amount of cleaning time as before are no longer necessary. Since the cleaning was mainly for fallen leaves until now, it is thought that in the future, cleaning can be sufficiently done with half the number of people and half the time.

Response

Regarding the cleaning of Inagi City parks, the designated manager of the city parks, the "Inagi Green Wellness Foundation," a public interest incorporated foundation, commissions the Senior Employment Center to carry out these tasks.
Regarding the method of the outsourcing contract, it is a lump-sum contract for the fiscal year, specifying the annual number of times and the work content for cleaning, shrub weeding, and shrub pruning in the specifications.
Therefore, regarding the cleaning of Yanokuchi Nakajima Children's Park, as long as the specified number of cleanings based on the specifications are carried out and the park is well maintained and kept clean, the number of workers and the time taken for the work are not questioned; this is what is called performance evaluation.
From now on, we will continue to strive for proper maintenance and management so that everyone can gather and enjoy the park comfortably.
