Furthermore, the cycling events (road race) of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games passed through the city.

In the area of the Inagi Minamiyama East Land Readjustment Project, the first integrated facility in Japan combining a stadium and an aquarium, "TOKYO GIANTS TOWN," will be established, merging sports and entertainment.
TOKYO GIANTS TOWN will open its core facility, the "Giants Town Stadium," on March 1, 2025, and will have a grand opening in 2027 as a new hub that includes an aquarium and dining facilities. (A joint project by Yomiuri Shimbun Tokyo Headquarters, Yomiuri Giants, and Yomiuri Land)
