About the clock at Omaru Park Tennis Court

There is no clock at Omaru Park Tennis Court.
There is a clock in the adjacent park, and it is located where it can be seen from the tennis courts, but in reality, the leaves of the trees between the clock and the tennis courts completely obscure the clock from view.
Sometimes the previous user does not notice the end time, which can make it uncomfortable to use.
There are clocks on the courts in Wakabadai and Shiroyama, so you can play while glancing at the time.
Omaru Park is very inconvenient because you have to repeatedly take your smartphone out of your bag to check the time while playing. Tennis courts in Tama City and other places always have clocks visible inside the courts. Please install a clock inside the tennis court.

Response

Regarding the use of Omaru Park Tennis Courts, based on requests that the clock installed in the adjacent park is not visible during certain seasons, we consulted with the park management. However, the clock is intended for park users who do not have their own clocks, and it is difficult to prune the trees to make the clock constantly visible from the tennis courts.
In addition, regarding the installation of a clock inside the tennis court, we have discussed and consulted with the designated manager of the tennis court. However, outdoor clocks are heavy and pose a risk of falling, making it difficult to install them on the tennis court fence for safety management reasons. Since no other suitable installation location can be found, it is currently difficult to install one.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but please check the time using your own watch or mobile phone when managing usage hours.
