Notification about changes to the tennis court lighting
Due to some of the tennis court lighting tickets in Inagi City being sold out, new tickets will be issued. Therefore, lighting tickets valid until March 2026 will no longer be usable after July 31.
Lighting tickets for August 1 and later will be sold starting August 1.
Tickets that can no longer be used will be exchanged.
I happened to hear this story for the first time from a friend who went to buy lighting at the Comprehensive Gymnasium.
I confirmed that the notice about the public reservation system was posted on the Inagi City Website on July 15, but I thought the newest notices would be at the top of the public reservation system notice section and was watching closely. However, this notice was posted between June 6 and June 11, so I did not notice it.
If I hadn't noticed in advance, I think I would have panicked trying to use the lighting as usual during the August night game and found it unavailable. Moreover, if it had been Monday and the Comprehensive Gymnasium was closed, there would have been nothing I could do.
(1) Important notices related to usage should be sent to everyone by email, such as when the public reservation system changes.
(2) Please make sure that the announcements section of the public reservation system always displays the newest dates at the top.
It may be natural for users to check announcements and the website, but until now, important notices related to usage were communicated by sending emails. However, since the new business operators took over, they only post notices, which is very troublesome.
Response
Regarding the switch of the tennis court lighting tickets, we had informed users through the following methods, but we apologize for causing concern as the information was not adequately conveyed to all users.
As for the notification method this time, first, on July 12, an article was posted in the announcement section of the Public Facilities Reservation System, and a notice was displayed inside Nomura Real Estate Inagi Arena (Comprehensive Gymnasium).
Next, on July 14, we posted guidance notices at the Shiroyama Park Tennis Courts and Wakabadai Koen Tennis Courts. Additionally, as of the 15th, we sent emails to all users who have reservations for the Shiroyama Park Tennis Courts and Wakabadai Koen Tennis Courts in August to inform them.
In addition to these, we contacted users who have reserved the Shiroyama Park tennis courts and "Wakabadai Koen" tennis courts after 5 PM from August 1st to 3rd by phone.
As you pointed out, the notice was not posted at the very top of the Public Facilities reservation system's announcement section this time. Going forward, we will manage the announcement section in a way that is easy to see and understand for all users.
