5 PM Music (Emergency Contact Test Broadcast)

The sound is too loud.
The melody is too childish and unpleasant to the ear.
I would like the sound to be a little quieter, or at least to return to the previous chime sound.

Response

The disaster prevention administrative radio system is installed as a means of communication to citizens in emergencies. Since it is necessary to always confirm that it is functioning properly, we conduct operational checks every evening by broadcasting a melody instead of a siren.
Regarding the broadcast in question, we previously aired "Yuuyake Koyake," but in 2023, when the "Inagi City Song" was established, based on the recommendation from the Inagi City Song Establishment Committee, including citizen members, that it should be used as music for disaster prevention radio, we changed the melody and broadcast it to promote the city song and increase recognition among citizens.
Also, the volume of this broadcast is set to "low" for all speakers, and it is not possible to adjust the volume for each speaker individually; however, we will adjust the sound pressure of nearby disaster prevention wireless systems accordingly.
