Report and Request Regarding the Selection of the Japan National Floorball Team

I have been selected for the Japan national team (A team) in floorball and will have the opportunity to participate in an international tournament. Since elementary school, I have been involved in promoting the sport and have also dedicated myself to coaching and spreading awareness. Through these activities, I am deeply grateful for the support of many people that has allowed me to continue playing the sport.
On the other hand, in minor sports such as floorball, all expenses for international competitions and activities are self-funded, resulting in a significant financial burden. Many young people aspiring to compete are forced to give up their challenges due to cost reasons.
Therefore, we would greatly appreciate it if the city could consider establishing subsidy and incentive programs to support athletes.
We also ask for your cooperation in displaying banners and streamers at City Hall and other Public Facilities to inform and encourage the citizens.
I myself will continue to improve my athletic performance as a player and devote myself to the promotion and development of floorball.

Congratulations on being selected for the Japanese national floorball team. We sincerely celebrate your achievement.
In Inagi City, as support for competitive sports, we undertake initiatives such as providing dispatch subsidies to central tournaments like the Tokyo Metropolitan Sports Tournament through the Inagi City Sports Association, and giving priority use of sports facilities to affiliated organizations. However, regarding direct financial support such as grants or incentives for individual athletes as requested, considering the current situation where the city provides various administrative services within a limited budget, it is difficult to establish such a system at this time. Additionally, regarding the display of banners at City Hall, this is currently being done for the Olympics, Paralympics, and Deaflympics.
We are grateful for the kind offer, but we sincerely apologize for being unable to meet your request.
We sincerely look forward to your continued success in future international competitions, and as the Mayor of Inagi City, we will also support you together with the local community.
