Regarding Requests for the Station Front Police Box

Please establish a police box in front of Inagi Station. As the development of Yomiuriland progresses, the number of cars and the population will increase, so it is necessary for citizens to live safely and securely.

Response

Regarding the new establishment of a police box in front of Inagi Station, with the birth of TOKYO GIANTS TOWN within the Minamiyama Eastern Land Readjustment Project area, and the opening of traffic on Tama Route 3·4·16 Inagi Minami-Tama Line, an increase in road traffic from Inagi Station towards Yomiuriland is expected. Additionally, a new hub including an aquarium and dining facilities is scheduled to open in 2027, and an increase in pedestrian flow from Keio Sagamihara Line Inagi Station is also anticipated. For these reasons, we are requesting the installation of a police box in front of Inagi Station.
For more than ten years, we have been visiting the Tama Central Police Station annually to make direct requests to the chief, and most recently, we made a renewed request in January of Reiwa 7 (2025).
We will continue to make requests to the Tama Central Police Station in the future.
