About the Clock Tower of Inagi Dai 5 Junior High School
Next week, the clock tower of Inagi Dai 5 Junior High School, where my child will graduate, has not been working since the time of enrollment.
Currently, it is blocked by something, and I can't even see the clock. When will it be fixed?
Response
Regarding the clock tower of Inagi Dai 5 Junior High School, it was installed at the time of the school's opening in 1988, and there are clocks on the east and west sides. However, as you pointed out, it has been stopped due to a malfunction.
We have considered repairs multiple times so far, but due to the structure of the building, repairs from inside the school are impossible. Additionally, repairs from outside the school require scaffolding due to the height of the work, which is expected to cost around 6 million yen. Therefore, we have regrettably had to postpone the repairs.
Regarding the repair of school facilities, we prioritize repairs related to the safety of children and students. As for this matter, we will consider measures, including removal, once we have a prospect for securing the budget in the future.
