About the pavement sheets in smoking prohibited areas on the street

The pavement sheet notifying about the smoking prohibition areas on the streets is peeling off and is not visible. Especially in the Yanokuchi area, it is not visible, so I would like a prompt response.

Response

To prevent passive smoking and littering of cigarette butts, the city established the "Ordinance on Restrictions of Smoking in Public Places in Inagi City" effective April 1, 2018. This ordinance restricts smoking while walking and smoking in public places where people are present throughout the city. In particular, areas within a 300-meter radius of six major stations in the city, including roads and parks, are designated as no-smoking zones. Furthermore, starting in April 2020, penalties will be applied, and awareness materials indicating the prohibition areas have been installed.
As you requested, more than five years have passed since the installation, and particularly the road surface display sheet shows signs of deterioration. Therefore, we will allocate a budget in the fiscal year 2025 and carry out a planned replacement.
