Population
About 30,000 people

51.4 square kilometers

Utilizing nature, creatively designing waterfronts, it has been developed as a beautiful waterfront city. It is a quiet residential area without bustling shopping districts or downtowns.
By effectively utilizing wetlands, we improve and maintain lakes and waterways, and there are docks for houses along the lagoon, with some homes owning their own duck boats. Shopping facilities also have docks for small boats, making it a suburban new town that coexists with the waterfront.
The waterway is isolated from San Francisco Bay, and sewage is discharged to the seabed 1.5 kilometers away from the coastline, ensuring environmental conservation.
Old buildings are being redeveloped and transformed into a new town. It is a city enthusiastic about sports and education, and many baseball and soccer fields are also being developed in the city's parks.
It is a city that has been selected as one of the top 8 safest cities in the United States, and with a racial composition of 45% Asian, it has a positive image of Japan. It is a city where both children and adults can interact with peace of mind.
