June is "Food Education Month" every year, and the 19th of every month is "Food Education Day"

Food education is about nurturing individuals who can acquire knowledge about food and the ability to choose food, enabling them to practice a healthy diet throughout their lives for a healthy and rich humanity.
To promote food education, the Basic Plan for Food Education implements food education promotion activities in cooperation with the national government, local governments, and related organizations. June of each year is designated as "Food Education Month," and the 19th of each month is designated as "Food Education Day." Let's use these occasions to gather as a family around the dining table and think about food.
