The Inagi City Board of Education is currently recruiting individuals who can assist with educational activities as "education volunteers."

In the educational field of Inagi City

  • As a UNESCO school, we promote Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
  • Under the policy of "Education is a collective effort of all citizens," schools, families, and the community are deeply connected.
  • We are working to improve academic ability, enhance language activities, and promote Olympic education.

To enhance the above activities, we are seeking university and graduate students aspiring to become teachers, as well as local volunteers.

Students will receive various advice from the school faculty and staff so that their experiences at Inagi City schools can be utilized in future school settings.

Recruitment Details

  • Recruitment Details (1) Learning support (2) Book organization and reading aloud (3) Environmental maintenance support (cultivation, garden maintenance, grass cutting, pruning of trees, school building repairs, etc.) (4) Club activities (5) Off-campus healthy development activities (safety patrols during school commutes, greeting campaigns) (6) Support for students who need Japanese language instruction (7) Support for students requiring assistance (8) Swimming instruction assistance (9) Assistance with tablet device replacement tasks (10) Others
  • Working Conditions There are no specific regulations regarding working days or hours. No compensation. (8) Swimming instruction assistants will be paid 1,250 yen per hour. Student volunteers aiming to become teachers will be reimbursed for transportation costs and lunch expenses (meal costs).
  • Registration Method Please bring it to the 6th floor of City Hall, or send it by mail. If a school has been decided, please contact the school directly and submit it. If no school has been decided, we will contact you when there is a request for educational volunteers from a school after registration. There may be no contact as well.
  • Registration Period It is one year from the date of registration.
  • Others For external instructors of club activities, please apply from the link below.

Access to Inagi City Public Schools

It is located along the Keio Tama Line and JR Nambu Line, making it convenient from the Shinjuku and Shibuya areas, as well as from Tachikawa, Hachioji, and Saitama.
