Currently, the Ministry of the Environment and the Japan Meteorological Agency are issuing a "Heat Stroke Warning Alert" and "Heat Index" to encourage preventive actions against heat stroke when extremely high-risk heat environments are forecasted.
If the heat index (WBGT) at the observation points in Hachioji or Fuchu reaches 31 or higher on the day of activities, and you wish to cancel due to concerns about heat-related illnesses, there are no special restrictions on the cancellation. Please contact the Education General Affairs Division to inform them of the cancellation after the following day.
Also, if you are using the facilities, please ensure thorough measures against heatstroke.
