The Youth Development District Committee is engaged in Sound Youth Development and conducts a wide range of activities in collaboration with various local organizations.
In Inagi City, what was established in 1968 as school units (3 districts from Inagi Dai 1 Elementary School to Inagi Dai 3 Elementary School) gradually became district units, and now 10 district committees are actively operating.

Role of the Youth Development District Committee

The role of the district committee is very important as a place for children of different ages to have various experiences. It is hoped that children will grow within a group through continuous activities in their local community, and for this, the "strengthening of collaboration" among families, schools, local communities, and government is becoming increasingly important. By caring for one another, watching over each other, and supporting each other, we are responsible for enhancing community strength as an opportunity for self-help and mutual assistance.

Main Activities of Each District

The main activities in each district include participation in and implementation of local events such as Bon Odori and sports festivals, camping at Inagi Fureai Forest, Sai no Kami events, agricultural experiences, and radio calisthenics. Additionally, information exchange is conducted through the "Youth Development District Committee Chairperson Meeting" that oversees all districts, fostering collaboration, and a night patrol is conducted every July as a joint project across all districts.
