The Coming of Age Ceremony to celebrate the coming of age will be held in two parts: a morning session and an afternoon session.

Invitation letters were sent in early December to eligible residents registered in Inagi City.

Other Topics

  • Before the ceremony starts in both the morning and afternoon sessions, there will be a screening of a memory movie and a performance of Japanese drums, so please arrive with plenty of time to spare.
  • If you have graduated from a junior high school other than public junior high schools in the city, please participate in the desired section.
  • After the ceremony, you can enjoy attractions and Jewel Illumination at Yomiuriland.

Note Due to severe weather or other conditions, the time may be changed or the event may be canceled.

Notes and Transportation

Please use public transportation and the Yomiuriland gondola to get to the venue.

・If using the parking lot: Paid (2,000 yen per passenger car)

・Temporary parking for pick-up/drop-off: Free (The invitation stated it was paid, but this has been changed)
 Note: Boarding, alighting, or making U-turns just before the parking lot gate is not allowed.
 Note: Stopping to wait for pick-up or drop-off inside the amusement park parking lot is prohibited.

  • By presenting this invitation, the admission fee to Yomiuriland and the round-trip gondola ride will be free of charge for the holder only, so please be sure to bring it with you.
  • If you require special assistance such as accompaniment when participating, please consult the Lifelong Learning Division.

Note The gondola may be suspended due to weather conditions.

For those living outside Inagi City

For those living outside Inagi City who wish to participate, please bring your identification on the day of the ceremony and come directly to the venue.

Also, those who have completed their application through the page linked below by Saturday, December 20, 2025, please bring your invitation letter.
