We are recruiting bands to perform at the Tama Hills-Inagi Festival (44th Inagi Festival)!!

Would you like to deliver your music on the Inagi stage?

Regardless of genre, we look forward to the participation of everyone who enjoys music and approaches it seriously!

A wide range of groups can participate, including circles, student units, and working adult bands.

You might be the star of the stage at the 44th event!

Overview

Overview of Band Recruitment

We are recruiting bands to perform at the music festival "Tama Hills-Inagi Festival" scheduled to be held at the US Military Tama Service Annex Facility. The event is planned for Sunday, October 18, 2026.

 

Project Overview
This is a music event centered around young people living, working, or studying in Inagi City, organized by an executive committee that plans and manages everything from the event planning stage to the day of the event, serving as an opportunity for Japan-U.S. goodwill and citizen exchange.

The event may be canceled or changed without notice due to venue circumstances.

Application Requirements

Application Requirements
  1. An amateur band whose representative is 16 years or older as of March 31, 2027, with at least one member residing, working, or studying in the city, and with at least one member from each band able to attend every meeting of the Inagi Festival Executive Committee.
  2. The Executive Committee plans to hold meetings on Saturday afternoons approximately every two weeks starting from the first meeting on Saturday, July 4. (Usually, there are about 7 to 8 meetings including review and preparation sessions.)
  3. When applying, please comply with the Inagi Festival Executive Committee Regulations, so be sure to read them. (They can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.)

How to Apply

Application Period

From 9:00 AM on Thursday, April 16, 2026, to 5:00 PM on Monday, May 11, 2026 (must arrive by this time)

Application Procedure Using the Application Form
  1. Please enter the required information in the application form via the "Apply" button or the "QR code" below.
  2. Please attach and send the "URL of the video posted on YouTube" or the "audio source such as an MP3 file."

Note: If you cannot attach the audio source, please submit a CD to the Community Center (1st floor office inside the Central Cultural Center).

Application Procedure by Visiting or Mailing
  1. Please download the "Participation Application and Consent Form" from the bottom of this page and fill in the required information.
  2. Please enter your YouTube account name and video title (video URL is also acceptable).
  3. Please submit the completed "Participation Application and Consent Form" to the Community Center (1st floor office inside the Central Cultural Center).

Note: If you cannot upload the video to YouTube, please submit a CD.

About Demo Audio
  1. Please prepare 3 songs recorded live in one take, generally within the last 5 years.
  2. If the audio cannot be played, it cannot be reviewed. Please confirm that it can be played before submitting.

Selection, Notification of Results, and Subsequent Schedule

  • In the selection meeting, not only the performance skills but also the enthusiasm and achievements as an executive committee member will be taken into consideration during the evaluation.
  • After the selection meeting, we will notify you of the acceptance or rejection to perform at the email address provided on the application form.

1st Executive Committee Meeting

(Venue: Central Cultural Center)

Every year, after the first executive committee meeting, it is held on approximately every two weeks on Saturdays in the afternoon. (Including reflection and preparation meetings, there are about 7 to 8 times.)
