We collect and recycle styrofoam trays and other items at public facilities within the city.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation in proper disposal.

How to Submit

  • Please remove the label, wash and dry it, and then place it in the collection box.
  • Please break down large Styrofoam into small pieces and put them in a bag for disposal. It becomes easier to process when wet.
  • Items that have remaining contents or cannot be cleaned will not be collected. Styrofoam trays that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as "Burnable Garbage".

(Note)
During long holiday periods such as the year-end and New Year holidays and Golden Week, collection boxes may be temporarily removed or sealed for facility management reasons. In such cases, please do not leave styrofoam trays unattended; instead, use store-front collection points at supermarkets or bring them when the boxes are open.
Also, if the box is full, please do not place items on top of the box lid to prevent scattering; instead, put them inside the box on another day.

Examples of Improper Disposal

Since the following conditions continue to be dangerous, we have no choice but to remove the collection box from the perspective of facility management.
Please ensure proper disposal once again.
