Number of Criminal Offenses Recognized in 2025

The number of recognized criminal offenses until March of the 7th year of Reiwa is 94, which is an increase of approximately 9.3% compared to the same period last year.
We will continue to work towards Community Development that allows for a safe and secure living environment. We appreciate the continued cooperation of the local community.

Activity Goals for 2025

The activity goals for the 7th year of Reiwa have been decided as follows by the Safety and Security Community Development Promotion Council.
This year, we will continue to implement crime prevention activities and strive to achieve our goals.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation.

[Activity Goals for Reiwa Year 7]

  1. Reduce the number of recognized criminal offenses by 10% compared to the previous year
  2. Reduce the number of special fraud cases and the amount of damage by 10% compared to the previous year
  3. Increase the number of participants in the citywide crime prevention patrol by 10%

Crime Occurrence Information Map

This is a crime information map provided by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.
You can see the occurrence of criminal offenses in Tokyo since January of this year, as well as incidents involving approaches to children and women.
Clicking the following link will display the entire Tokyo Metropolis. By clicking on Inagi City in the map, you can obtain information about Inagi City.

Mail Police Station

The Metropolitan Police Department will notify you via email about "crime occurrence information" that has occurred in each area and necessary "crime prevention information" to prevent crime.

  1. We provide timely information on incidents and other matters.
  2. We will also provide map information for the vicinity of the incident location.
  3. It is easy to register from personal mobile phones or computers.
  4. Registrants can freely select the delivery information.

You can only receive information that matches the combination of the registered "Receiving Time", "Receiving Area", and "Receiving Type". Additionally, you can select up to a maximum of 97 police stations (excluding island areas).
Please register for the "Mail Police" and utilize the information to avoid becoming a victim.
