What is a First Aid Promoter?

A first aid instructor is a person certified by the Mayor of Inagi City who primarily provides first aid training (such as CPR and AED handling) to employees at their affiliated business or organization within the city.

Eligible Individuals

Those who live or work in the city and wish to obtain certification and hold a lifesaving training course.
The training to become a first aid instructor consists of a total of 24 hours (8 hours over 3 days), covering anatomy and physiology, understanding of pathological conditions, skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and teaching guidelines.
If you currently hold the qualification of a first aid instructor, you can renew your qualification by taking a 3-hour course.

From Saturday, October 11, 2025, to Monday, October 13, 2025, from 9 AM to 6 PM
Note: Participation for three consecutive days is required.

Response Deadline

September 12, 2025 (Friday)

Re-training (required every 3 years)

January 13, 2026 (Tuesday) from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
January 14, 2026 (Wednesday) from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
January 15, 2026 (Thursday) from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Note: For those who have previously taken the first aid instructor training in Inagi City, a notification letter has been sent to eligible individuals for renewal. Additionally, those who have taken the first aid instructor training in other cities and currently reside or work in Inagi City can renew their qualifications by attending the training on the above schedule within the deadline. For more details, please contact the Inagi Fire Station.

About First Aid Instruction Held by First Aid Promoters

Those who have obtained the qualification of a first aid instructor can hold the following training sessions for employees or members of their affiliated workplaces, disaster prevention organizations, or groups. Additionally, they can issue completion certificates and other documents issued by the Inagi City Fire Department.

  1. Basic Life Support Course: A 3-hour course to learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults. A completion certificate will be issued. It is also possible to focus the content on CPR for children and infants. A completion certificate will be issued.
  2. Basic Life Support Course: A 90-minute training session to learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults. This course is conducted when it is difficult to hold a 3-hour training session. A simple completion certificate will be issued.
  3. First Aid Training: This training does not follow the format of 1.2, and the time and content will be determined by the instructor. No completion certificate will be issued.

Please fill in the required information in the input form below. If you wish to borrow equipment, please enter it in the form.
Please be aware that after your application, there may be cases where we will contact you from the fire department regarding any deficiencies in the content or if we are unable to accommodate your request for borrowing equipment.
If you are a member of the fire brigade or hold a qualification as a first aid instructor and wish to hold a training session, you can also use this input form.
(We will continue to accept applications in the previous paper-based format.)
After the course, please report using the 'Results Report Form'.
