Introduction to Inagi City Fire Department

The Inagi City Fire Department was established on December 27, 1967, as the Inagi Town Fire Department. Subsequently, on April 1, 1970, the Inagi Fire Station was opened, strengthening its capabilities in fire and emergency response, and began fire and emergency services as an organization that combines the fire department and fire station based on the Fire Service Act.
On November 1, 1971, the organization name changed to 'Inagi City Fire Department and Inagi Fire Station' due to the enforcement of city system, and on April 1, 1974, a new fire station building was constructed, establishing the foundation of the current fire protection system.
The organization of the Inagi City Fire Department and Inagi Fire Station consists of four divisions: Fire General Affairs Division, Fire Suppression Division, Prevention Division, and Disaster Prevention Division. Firefighters work in a three-shift system to respond to disasters such as fires and emergencies, protecting the lives and property of Inagi City residents 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
