Inoue Ran, a high school senior living in the city, belongs to "KONAMI J.B.STAR", which participated in the remote-held world hip-hop dance championship "WORLD HIPHOP DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP 2021" on October 9, 2021, and won second place in the mega crew category (a category where teams consisting of 15 to 40 members compete). Out of the 21 teams that participated, "KONAMI J.B.STAR" showcased a "happy dance" that brought joy to the audience, scoring 7.47 points out of 10 in the finals, securing the second place.
Inoue started practicing dance at Konami Sports Club Inagi after watching his favorite anime character dance when he was in the first grade of elementary school, wanting to become like that character. Then, in the first year of junior high school, he passed the audition for the select team "J.B.STAR" and participates in team practices on days off from school while continuing to practice independently with the select team.

Although Mr. Inoue is such a person, it seems that he intends to graduate from the select team upon graduating from high school. When asked about memorable events from the 12 years of dance he has continued since the first grade of elementary school, he said, "In my second year of junior high school, I aimed to become a regular member of the select team, increased my practice time, and was able to become a regular. The effort I put in at that time changed my dance life." He also reflected with a smile, saying, "It was a fulfilling 12 years that I was able to complete without regrets."
When asked about future activities, they said, "I want to continue dancing in clubs even after becoming a university student. I also want to try teaching, utilizing my past experiences." Let's look forward to Inoue's success on a new stage, who has worked hard every day and achieved a remarkable result of being the runner-up in the last world championship.
