Traffic restrictions around City Hall First Parking Lot and the closure of A Bicycle Parking Lot (motorcycle only)

Construction work for the installation of rapid charging facilities for electric vehicles will be carried out in the City Hall First Parking Lot. As a result, during the construction period, there will be restrictions on pedestrian, bicycle, motorcycle, and vehicle traffic around the First Parking Lot, and the A Bicycle Parking Lot (for motorcycles only) will be closed. We apologize for the inconvenience to all users and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

1 Central Cultural Center Loading Passage

Construction will be carried out to bring electricity to the rapid charger. There will be periods during which passage is not possible due to the construction.

2 Central Cultural Center Front Entrance Passage

Construction will be carried out to bring electricity to the rapid charger. Pedestrian access will remain available during the construction, but the pathway will be narrow, so please be careful while passing through.

• Traffic restriction period: From April 7, 2025, to April 23, 2025

3 First Parking Lot Parking Spaces for 2 Cars

This will be a workspace for the installation of rapid chargers. The parking space adjacent to the motorcycle parking lot will be unavailable during the construction period specified below.

• First parking lot parking space usage restriction period (from 1 to 2 vehicles): From April 7 to April 25, 2025, May 28, and May 29

4 A Bicycle Parking Lot (Motorcycle Only)

This will be a workspace for the installation of rapid chargers. The area will be unavailable during the construction period below.

• A Bicycle Parking Lot (Motorcycle Only) Closure Period: From April 7 to April 25, 2025, May 28, and May 29

Note: During the period when Parking Lot A is unavailable, a temporary motorcycle parking lot will be set up near Ikoi no Hiroba.

5 Parking Lot Entrance Sign Installation Location

A sign for the electric vehicle fast charging facility will be installed in the planting area. Please be careful when passing through as the pathway will be narrow during the installation work.

For those coming from Tama City, please note that you cannot enter the first parking lot by turning right from Tsurukawa Street, so it is convenient to use the second and third parking lots.

Parking Fees

• Free for less than 1 hour
• For 1 hour to 2 hours: 200 yen
• If it exceeds 2 hours, add 100 yen for each hour up to 200 yen.
• Maximum fee per 24 hours: 1,200 yen (If exceeding 24 hours, an additional 100 yen will be added for each hour beyond 1,200 yen)

Example of Parking Fees

1. If parked for 45 minutes → Free
2. If you park for 1 hour and 45 minutes → 200 yen
3. If parked for 2 hours and 45 minutes → 200 yen + 100 yen = 300 yen
4. If parked for 3 hours and 45 minutes → 200 yen + 100 yen + 100 yen = 400 yen

About Reduction and Exemption of Parking Fees

If your city procedures or consultations take more than one hour, parking fees will be waived (free). Please bring the "Parking Service Ticket" issued at each window (responsible department) to the "Parking Ticket Service Counter."

The City Hall parking lot is available for public use on closed days and at night, so please make use of it.

For those using the City Hall bicycle parking

Bicycles that have been confirmed to be left unattended for more than two weeks after parking will be moved to another location by the Property Management Division. Additionally, after being moved, they will be stored for a certain period before disposal. Please note that we will not be responsible for any damage or dirt that may occur during the removal process.
