Regarding the Monitoring of Toilets in City Parks

Central Park and "Wakabadai Koen" are being used, but there was a homeless person in the restroom who spoke abusively. I reported it to the police, and there were other witnesses besides me. Since the person was around the restroom, it is believed they stayed there overnight.
I want the park toilets to be closed from night until morning to prevent any victims.
We often hear reports of homeless people being seen not only in park restrooms but also elsewhere, so we would like to request surveillance around the park area.
Also, please clean the toilets as some places are dirty.

Response

Regarding the restrooms in parks such as Inagi Central Park and "Wakabadai Koen", they are available 24 hours a day to meet the needs of people using the parks at various times, such as early morning or late at night, and because many people may gather in the parks at different times as evacuation sites during disasters or emergencies.
Regarding suspicious person responses such as toilets in the park, we have requested the Tama Central Police Station to strengthen crime prevention patrols. The city will also continue to work on safety measures such as patrolling within the park.
Regarding the cleaning of toilets, we will continue to coordinate with the Inagi Green Wellness Foundation, the designated administrator of city parks, to carry out toilet cleaning at Inagi Central Park and "Wakabadai Koen".
