About walking dogs in Central Park
I go running in the central park in the morning, but after 6 o'clock, groups of people walking their dogs often gather and block the jogging course. There are also several large dogs being walked, making it difficult to pass on the sidewalks. There is also dog feces and urine. Could you please take some measures, such as putting up signs?
Response
Public parks that anyone can freely use are spaces where users enjoy and relax while following rules and manners such as not disturbing other users, ensuring safety, and being considerate of each other.
The city has established usage standards and manners for the park, and is making efforts to raise awareness by posting notices. In Inagi Central Park, signs have been installed to remind dog owners to be considerate and yield to each other while walking on the pathways. Based on your suggestions, we will review the locations of these signs and add more as needed.
Also, if manners do not improve through greetings and communication among users, we kindly ask you to inform the Inagi Green Wellness Foundation, the designated park administrator, about the situation.
