For Child Allowance, procedures are required at the Child Care Support Division.

The Child Allowance is generally provided from the month following the month in which the application was made, so please complete your procedures as soon as possible.
If the date of birth or the date of moving in is close to the end of the month, even if the application date is in the following month, benefits will be provided from the month of application if the application is made within 15 days from the day after the event date (for moving in, this is the planned moving out date submitted to the previous municipality, and for birth, this is the date of birth).
Please be aware that if your application is delayed, you will not be able to receive the allowance for the months that are delayed.
