The Tokyo 2020 Games cycling road race. Of the course that the riders sped through that day, the approximately 38 km section covering eight cities in Tokyo (Hachioji City, Mitaka City, Fuchu City, Chofu City, Machida City, Koganei City, Tama City, and Inagi City) has been named the "Tokyo Tama 2020 Legacy Road." These eight cities will preserve this route as a legacy for future generations while utilizing it to promote cycle tourism and enrich community development through cycling.
