Procurement Policy of Inagi City in accordance with the Act on Promotion of Procurement of Priority Goods for Persons with Disabilities

The Act on Promotion of Procurement for Persons with Disabilities has been enacted.

From April 1, 2013, the "Act on Promotion of Procurement of Goods, etc. from Employment Facilities for Persons with Disabilities by the State and Others" came into effect.
This law was established to promote the economic independence of persons with disabilities working in disability employment facilities or working from home by encouraging the national and local governments and other organizations to preferentially purchase goods and services from disability employment facilities when procuring items.

Due to the enforcement of the Act on Promotion of Procurement of Goods and Services by Persons with Disabilities

Local governments are required to formulate policies each fiscal year to promote procurement of goods and services from employment facilities for persons with disabilities, as well as to compile and publish an overview of procurement achievements.
