Disaster Support Project for Home Ventilator Users

We provide home ventilator users, who face life-threatening risks due to power outages during disasters, with generators or storage batteries.
If you wish, please contact the Disability Welfare Division in advance.

Eligible Individuals

Residents of the city who meet all of the following criteria

• Individuals who use a ventilator at home every day
• Individuals who have developed a personal plan for disaster situations for home ventilator users
• Those who are not eligible for subsidies for home generators and storage batteries under other public systems
• Those who do not have a generator or storage battery

Note: If you wish to develop an individual plan for disaster situations for home ventilator users, please consult the Disability Welfare Division.

Beneficiary Items

1. Home Generator (Household Cassette Pump Type)
2. Storage Battery

• Note: In principle, this is intended for charging external batteries.
• Note: Please choose either a generator or a storage battery to apply.
• Note: The city will purchase and provide benefits to individual recipients.
• Note: The fuel for the generator (LP gas) will be at your own expense.
