Recruitment Overview

We are recruiting bands to perform at the music festival 'Inagi Festival' scheduled to be held at the Yokota Air Base Tama Service Support Facility. The event is planned for October 5, 2025 (Sunday).

 

Application Requirements
  1. The representative must be 16 years or older as of March 31, 2028, and at least one person must reside, work, or study in the city. Each band must ensure that at least one member from the Inagi Festival Executive Committee is present at all times. Amateur bands.
  2. The executive committee is scheduled to meet on Saturdays in the afternoon approximately every two weeks after the first meeting on July 5 (Saturday). (Typically, this includes about 7 to 8 meetings, including reflection and preparation meetings.)
  3. When applying, please adhere to the Inagi Festival Executive Committee regulations, so please read them. (Available for distribution upon your visit, can be downloaded from the bottom of this page)

How to Apply

Please submit the designated "Participation Application Form and Consent Form" along with the demo audio source for selection by visiting, mailing, faxing, or emailing.

Application Period
From April 15, 2025 (Tuesday) at 9:00 AM to May 9, 2025 (Friday) by 5:00 PM
Application Procedures by Visiting, Mailing, or Faxing
  1. Please download the "Participation Application and Consent Form" and fill in the required information.
  2. Please submit the completed "Participation Application and Consent Form" along with the demo audio source (CD) to the Central Community Center.
  3. If you provide your YouTube account name and video title (you can also paste the URL), you do not need to submit a CD.
Application Procedure by Email
  1. Please download the "Participation Application and Consent Form" below and fill in the required information.
  2. Please upload the "audio source data" to GigaFile or similar services to obtain the download URL.
  3. Please attach the completed "Participation Application and Consent Form" and paste the URL for downloading the "Audio Data" in the body of the email, then send it to the "Application Email Address" below.
  4. If you enter your YouTube account name and video title (you can also paste the URL), you do not need to upload it to GigaFile or paste the download URL.
About Demo Audio
  • Please prepare three songs recorded live in one take within approximately five years.
  • Please upload the audio source to YouTube, confirm that it is playable, and enter your account name and video title (you can also paste the URL) in the "Participation Application and Consent Form."
  • If you are unable to upload to YouTube, please submit via CD or data.
  • Note: Please read each application procedure at the top of this page for details.
About the Second Recruitment
If the number of applications is low, a second recruitment may be conducted. Details are scheduled to be posted on the city website after Friday, May 9.

Selection and Decision

  • In the selection meeting, not only the performance skills but also the enthusiasm and achievements as an executive committee member will be taken into consideration during the evaluation.
  • The availability of participation will be notified by sending an email to the address listed on the application form or by mailing it to the address provided.

1st Executive Committee Meeting

Every year, after the first executive committee meeting, it is held on approximately every two weeks on Saturdays in the afternoon. (Including reflection and preparation meetings, there are about 7 to 8 times.)

Overview of Inagi Festival

The Inagi Festival is a music event organized by a committee primarily composed of young people living, working, or studying in Inagi City, serving as an opportunity for Japan-U.S. friendship and community exchange, from planning to the operation on the day of the event.
