The Waste Reduction Promotion Council is an organization composed of citizens appointed by the mayor to discuss matters related to the reduction, promotion of reuse, and proper disposal of general waste.

The "Second Basic Plan for General Waste Management in Inagi City," with a planning period from fiscal year 2014 to fiscal year 2023, was consulted with the Inagi City Waste Reduction Promotion Council, and discussions were held over the two fiscal years of 2012 and 2013.
The plan completed in March 2014 can be viewed at the City Hall information disclosure corner, the library, and the Cultural Center, and a leaflet version is also being distributed. Additionally, it can be downloaded from the Inagi City Website.
