Thank you for participating! 15th Misawa River Cleanup (March 2, 2025)

On March 2, 2025 (Sunday), we conducted the "Misawa River Cleanup," one of the three major cleanups in the city, picking up trash along the banks and sidewalks of the Misawa River from the new Kisaragi Bridge in the Sakahama area to the Tenjin Bridge in the Yanokuchi area.
On the day of the event, under clear skies, about 440 citizens participated, and without any accidents, we were able to collect approximately 440 kilograms of waste (280 kilograms of combustible waste and 160 kilograms of non-combustible waste), cleaning up the Misawa River, a place of relaxation for the citizens, before the cherry blossoms bloomed.
Thank you to all individuals, organizations, and companies who participated and cooperated.
