Designated Evacuation Shelter

In the event of a major earthquake, 33 facilities, including municipal Elementary and Junior High Schools and the Cultural Center, have been designated as places for individuals who are unable to live in their homes to spend a certain period in evacuation.

Designated Emergency Evacuation Site

In the event of a major earthquake, we have designated 30 locations, such as the schoolyards of city-run Elementary and Junior High Schools and parks, as temporary evacuation sites to escape dangers such as building collapses and fire spread.

This is a list of designated evacuation shelters and designated emergency evacuation locations.
