Awarded the Tokyo Metropolitan Fire Department Commendation: Yoshiyuki Ishii, Deputy Chief of the Inagi City Fire Department Headquarters, and Shunpei Tanaka, Chief of the 8th Division

On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the "Tokyo Metropolitan Fire Service Commendation Ceremony" was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building No. 1. On this occasion, two members from the Inagi City Fire Department, Deputy Head of the Headquarters, Yoshiyuki Ishii, and Head of the Eighth Division, Shunpei Tanaka, were awarded certificates and commemorative medals by the Governor of Tokyo in recognition of their long-standing dedication to fire service duties and contributions to community activities.

The Tokyo Fire Department Commendation aims to honor the achievements of firefighters who have been engaged in ensuring the safety of the lives and property of local residents over many years, and is awarded to those members whose contributions are particularly notable.
