About the timetable revision

In order to improve the working environment for drivers, discussions were held at the Inagi City Regional Public Transport Council and other meetings regarding the bus operation schedule that meets the "Standards for Improving Working Hours for Automobile Drivers" (hereinafter referred to as the "Improvement Standards Notification"), which will be enforced from April 1, 2024.
As a result, it has been concluded that due to the current number of drivers not being able to meet the "Improvement Standards Notification" for some of the existing operation schedules, and the lack of prospects for securing new drivers to maintain the current number of operation schedules, it is necessary to advance some schedules and reduce services (abolish) and therefore, a timetable revision will be implemented.

About Fare Revision

Each bus operator operating within the city has implemented a fare revision in 2023, taking into account the increase in operating costs due to rising personnel expenses for securing staff caused by a serious shortage of drivers and the increase in fuel costs associated with changes in social conditions.
Regarding the i-bus, discussions were held at the Inagi City Regional Public Transport Council and other meetings about appropriate i-bus fares that correspond to the increase in operating costs. As a result, it was concluded that in order to maintain a sustainable regional public transport system that balances current operating costs and fare revenues, and to ensure a fair burden on beneficiaries, it is necessary to revise the fares.
