Tokyo Metropolitan Housing is housing rented at low rent for those who have difficulty securing housing.

When applying as a family

The main conditions are as follows. 

• The applicant has continuously resided in Tokyo for more than 3 years.
• Having cohabiting relatives. (This also includes those in a partnership relationship.)
• The applicant is 60 years or older, or meets one of the specified requirements.
• Having difficulty securing housing.
• Income is within the specified criteria. (The total income of the applying household must be within the income standard range.)
• The applicant (including cohabitants) must not be a member of an organized crime group.

When applying alone

The main conditions are as follows. 

• Has continuously resided in Tokyo for more than 3 years.
• Not having a spouse and living alone.
• Being 60 years or older, or meeting any of the specified requirements.
• Having difficulty securing housing.
• Income must be within the specified standards. (The applicant's annual income amount must fall within the income criteria.)
• The applicant must not be a member of an organized crime group.

1. Regular Recruitment

What is the Point System?

This recruitment method determines the degree of housing hardship based on the items listed in the Housing Status Declaration Form, and those with higher housing hardship are selected in order up to the number of units available in the application area as "qualified applicants." 

This recruitment targets the following types of households.

• Single-parent households (mother-child households, father-child households)
• Older Adults households
• Households with physical or mental disabilities
• Households with many children
• Households with wheelchair users, etc.

2. Monthly Recruitment

Recruitment conducted around mid to late each month.

• Target: Prospective married couples・Single applicants
• Selection method: Lottery system
• Estimated time until move-in: About 6 to 8 months

Inami City does not distribute application forms, etc.

3. Occasional Recruitment

This recruitment is open for housing units that have vacancies and can be applied for at any time.

• Target: For families, single persons, young couples, and parenting households
• Selection method: Lottery system
• Approximate time until move-in: About 3 months

Application forms are not distributed in Inagi City.
