[Restored] Suspension of My Number Card Update Procedures Due to Moving In, Moving, or Name Change

The My Number Card update procedures related to moving in, moving, or name changes had been suspended, but have now been restored.

The system failure has been resolved, and the rewriting of My Number Card information (IC chip update and card face printing) related to moving in, moving, or name changes is now possible as usual.

We sincerely apologize for the great inconvenience caused to all citizens.

We will work to prevent recurrence and strive to improve operations so that all citizens can complete procedures with peace of mind.

The details of the issue that occurred are as follows.

Date and Time of the Issue

 December 15, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. all day

Status

  • Unable to update the My Number Card's face information and rewrite internal data.

Applicable Cases

In the following cases, the My Number Card update could not be completed.

  • When moving into this city from outside the city (moving in)
  • When changing your address within the city (moving within the city)
  • When there is a name change due to marriage or other reasons
