Regarding the standardization of various local government business systems (such as issuing the Certificate of Residence and calculating Municipal Tax) promoted by the national government based on the "Act on the Standardization of Local Government Information Systems," Inagi City will begin sequential implementation from Monday, December 15.

What is Standardization of Business Systems

This is a national initiative to unify the specifications and operations of information systems used by local governments. Until now, each local government independently developed its own business systems, but there were challenges such as the significant time and cost required to respond to system revisions and updates.
By transitioning to the "standard-compliant system" based on the specifications set by the national government, the aim is to reduce the burden on local governments and improve resident services.

Building business systems in a cloud environment that meets national standards

The standard-compliant system is built in a cloud environment called the "Government Cloud," which meets the high security requirements set by the government. As a result, the safety of data storage and backup systems in case of disasters will be further enhanced compared to the current situation.

Some printed characters will be changed

After the start of using the standard-compliant system, since the characters that can be used within the business system are also defined by the national government, the shapes of some characters used in certificates issued by the Mayor of Inagi City may be changed.

The shape of the characters may change

The layout of certificates and other documents will be partially changed

With the start of using the standard-compliant system, some certificates and other documents issued by the Mayor of Inagi City will have their layout changed to the one specified by the national government.
