Overview

In March 2016, the "Inagi City Tourism Basic Plan" was formulated, and with the expiration of the plan period in March 2021, the "Second Inagi City Tourism Basic Plan" has been established to set the policy for tourism for the next five years starting from fiscal year 2021. This plan aims to continue and further develop previous initiatives, enhance tourism measures and the attractiveness of tourism resources through collaboration with related fields, thereby creating a vibrant community and opportunities to enjoy Inagi.

Basic Philosophy

By utilizing and enhancing diverse local resources, we aim to establish the uniqueness of Inagi and create a vibrant community, promoting a tourism-focused Community Development that is good for both residents and visitors.

Four Pillars of Tourism Resources

  1. Satoyama Nostalgia
    The satoyama landscape remaining in Minamiyama, Misawa River cherry blossom corridor, cultural heritage, historical heritage, etc.
  2. Sports
    Bicycle utilization (such as cycling), Yomiuri Giants, Tokyo Verdy, etc.
  3. Amusement
    Yomiuri Land Amusement Park, Day-use Hot Spring Facility, Golf Course, etc.
  4. Mechanic
    Monument of Kunio Okawara's works, designed manhole covers, mechanical designers summit, etc.
