Purpose

The "Inagi City Comprehensive Strategy for Town, People, and Business Startup" (hereinafter referred to as the "Comprehensive Strategy") implements a PDCA cycle to verify progress using key performance indicators (KPIs) and other measures, and to make improvements as necessary.
This verification was conducted to evaluate and verify the progress of the comprehensive strategy, as well as to summarize the five-year period from fiscal year 2015 to fiscal year 2019 in preparation for the formulation of the next comprehensive strategy.

Overview of Verification

In order to conduct a verification of the comprehensive strategy, we have established the "Inagi City Town, People, and Work Creation Comprehensive Strategy Verification Committee" (hereinafter referred to as the "Verification Committee") to incorporate citizens' opinions and to verify in an organized and comprehensive manner. Furthermore, to ensure consistency and coherence with the formulation and verification of the previous comprehensive strategies, it is composed of members similar to those of the "Inagi City Town, People, and Work Creation Comprehensive Strategy Formulation Committee" and members recommended by their affiliations from the previous verification committees.

Notes

The current comprehensive strategy was originally a five-year plan from fiscal year 2015 to fiscal year 2019. However, to ensure consistency with the next comprehensive strategy and the fifth Long-Term Comprehensive Plan of Inagi City, which is the highest-level plan of Inagi City, the formulation period was aligned with the formulation of the fifth Long-Term Comprehensive Plan of Inagi City and set to fiscal year 2021. Therefore, the plan was extended by one year and covers up to fiscal year 2020.
This year's verification committee has summarized the past five years in preparation for the formulation of the next comprehensive strategy. It includes the target values for both the end of fiscal year 2019 and the end of fiscal year 2020 for the Key Performance Indicators (KPI), which are indicators of the progress of the comprehensive strategy.

Fiscal Year 2019 Achievements

Among the projects listed in the comprehensive strategy, those with established KPIs have been classified into three categories based on their progress: "Achieved," "Expected to Achieve," and "Not Achieved." The definitions for each category are as follows.

Achievement
Projects that achieved the "KPI results" for Fiscal Year 2019 and reached the "target values" by the end of Fiscal Year 2020
Expected Achievement
The "KPI results" for Fiscal Year 2019 have not reached the "target value" by the end of Fiscal Year 2020, but there are clear prospects for the projects to be achieved.
Unachieved
Projects for which the "KPI results" for Fiscal Year 2019 have not reached the "target values" by the end of Fiscal Year 2020

Note: The progress status against the "target value" at the end of Fiscal Year 2019 is provided for reference.
