Content of Opinions and the City's Perspective on Them
Basic Agricultural Plan
(Summary of Opinions)
- I want to produce black soybean edamame from Tanba Sasayama and make it the third brand after pears from "Inagi" and grapes from "Takaos.
- Regarding the production of black soybean edamame, we will match interested individuals for agricultural work through public recruitment to utilize both self-owned farmland by farmers and dormant farmland. By having them produce, we aim to cultivate human resources who will take on agricultural roles and create new specialty products, which will also contribute to attracting visitors from outside the city and enhance tourism.
(City's Perspective)
In our city, stable agricultural management utilizing the brand power of pears and grapes is being developed, while for vegetables, solid agricultural management is being conducted mainly through direct sales.
While taking your opinions into account, we will also consider the utilization of idle farmland and the development of agricultural successors. We will collaborate with farmers and related organizations to research the establishment of new agricultural product brands and varieties that can become new brands, and we will strive to promote agriculture.
Tourism Basic Plan
(Summary of Opinions)
- Regarding industrial tourism such as public infrastructure facilities and factories, filming for special effects television programs is taking place in various locations within the city. However, this information is not widely known, and there are places that are usually inaccessible, which means that the valuable pilgrimage resources are not being utilized.
- To make use of pilgrimage resources, it is necessary to implement guided tours that allow access to places that are usually off-limits and to develop easily understandable photography spots.
- When ordering planning for the city's tourism events and the production of goods, a system will be established to prioritize the hiring of business operators within the city. This will make it visible to citizens that "tourism projects contribute to the city's economy," which will also lead to an improvement in the city's image.
(City's Perspective)
In order to actively promote location services (shooting support) in our city, we have organized the Inagi Location Service in collaboration with the Inagi City Tourism Association and private specialized companies. We provide support for various location activities, including the introduction of filming locations such as buildings and parks, procedures for facility usage applications, and on-site assistance during filming, including feedback from special effects television programs.
In the future, as we accumulate filming achievements through the Inagi Location Service, we are considering initiatives for location tourism, such as creating location maps and holding walking tours around filming locations. We will also take your feedback into account as we strive to promote tourism and regional development through location filming.
In addition, the Second Inagi City Tourism Basic Plan states that "in holding events, we will actively collaborate with business operators in the city and strive to foster related industries through building cooperative relationships." Therefore, we will work together with tourism-related business operators in the city to promote tourism and revitalize the local economy.
