(July 2, 2018) Tourism Agreement between the Japan Automobile Federation and the Inagi City Tourism Association

On July 2, 2018 (Monday), a tourism agreement was concluded among Inagi City, the Japan Automobile Federation (hereinafter referred to as "JAF"), and the Inagi City Tourism Association.
Based on this agreement, we will utilize the JAF network, which has approximately 19.19 million members nationwide (about 1.5 million members in the Tokyo branch as of March 2018), to significantly promote the city as a whole, attract drive tourists to the city, and encourage visits to local facilities.
In addition, by concluding an agreement among the three parties, including the Inagi City Tourism Association, we can achieve closer ties to the community and sustainable collaboration, allowing for the cooperation of JAF in projects organized by the tourism association.

Overview of the Japan Automobile Federation

JAF is a membership organization that provides roadside assistance services, established in April 1963.
In recent years, we have been actively working not only on roadside assistance but also on promoting drive tourism. We have signed agreements with approximately 450 municipalities nationwide (13 municipalities in Tokyo) to promote each municipality, introduce recommended driving routes and tourist spots, and hold joint events that contribute to regional revitalization. Inagi City will be the 14th municipality in Tokyo to sign such an agreement.
