This is a system that allows you to vote before the election date (election day).
If you are unable to vote on election day due to work, travel, or other reasons, you can vote before the election date.

Eligibility

For those who have work, travel, or other plans on election day and cannot go to vote
Note: You must have the right to vote on the day you cast your early vote and be registered in the Inagi City electoral roll.

Voting Method

Voting is done by directly placing the ballot paper into the ballot box at early voting locations within the city, in the same manner as on the election day.
Note: Submission of a declaration form is required when voting.
Note: If you have a voting admission ticket, please fill out the "Affidavit and Request Form" on the back of the voting admission ticket in advance and come to the early voting station. This will allow you to receive the ballot smoothly.

Early Voting Period

From the day after the election announcement date to the day before the election date

For those who cannot vote in advance (About the absentee voting system)

Those who cannot vote in advance and are registered in the voter list of Inagi City can vote by absentee ballot.

  1. Persons staying in municipalities other than Inagi City
  1. Those who are hospitalized or residing in hospitals, nursing homes, etc., designated as absentee voting facilities.
  1. Persons who are certified with certain disabilities or as requiring long-term care level 5 and have difficulty moving.
  1. If you will be 18 years old by election day but are voting before you turn 18 (you can register at the early voting location. However, you will need to place your ballot in an absentee ballot envelope instead of the ballot box. After you turn 18, early voting and voting on election day will be done as usual by placing your ballot in the ballot box.)

Note: For persons 1 to 3, prior procedures are required when casting an absentee ballot.
Note: For details about absentee voting, please see the "Absentee Voting" page.
