Absentee Voting (Voting from Outside the City, Hospitals, etc.)
Those who fall under the following categories can vote by mail. In any case, you must be registered on the voter list of Inagi City. Also, since it takes time for mail and other processes, please complete the procedures early.
Persons staying in municipalities other than Inagi City
On election day, those who are staying in municipalities outside of Inagi City due to business trips or travel will be eligible.
If you request a ballot from the Election Administration Commission of Inagi City, we will mail a complete set of ballots to your residence, and you will need to bring that complete set of ballots to the Election Administration Commission at your residence to vote. Please note that the format of the request form (Absentee Ballot Application and Declaration) will be published as the election date approaches.
Note: Among the set of voting materials, please do not open the envelope containing the absentee ballot certificate. If opened, you will not be able to vote. Additionally, you cannot pre-fill the ballot.
Note: For more details, please see the page on "Absentee Voting While Staying Away from Home."
Absentee Voting Period
From the day after the election announcement date to the day before the voting date
Note: Please vote early, considering the mailing period.
Note: For information on voting hours and polling places, please contact the Election Administration Commission at your location.
Those who are hospitalized or residing in hospitals, nursing homes, etc., designated as absentee voting facilities.
Those who are hospitalized or residing in hospitals and nursing homes designated as absentee voting facilities are eligible.
If you request the staff of the facility, the head of the facility will request the ballot from the Election Administration Commission, and in response to that request, we will send the ballot to the head of the facility. After it has been sent, you will follow the instructions of the facility staff and vote within the facility.
Note: For more details, please see the page on "Absentee Voting at Designated Hospitals, etc."

Those who have the right to vote on election day but do not have the right to vote on the early voting days
Those who will turn 18 by election day but are still 17 on the day of early voting are eligible. Registration will be done at the early voting location. However, instead of placing the ballot in the ballot box, it will be submitted in an envelope for absentee voting.
