School Characteristics
Founded in 1947, this is the oldest junior high school in the city, nurtured and supported by the local community.
Special support classes are established, promoting human rights education mainly through interaction. Additionally, the UNICEF activities undertaken by the student council have been recognized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Volunteer activities in the community are also actively conducted.
The "Integrated Learning Time" is referred to as the "Human Studies Department," focusing on workplace and childcare experiences as well as welfare exchanges. Aiming to enhance fundamental basics, it is themed "Knowing People, Learning from People," and strives to cultivate the ability to build rich human relationships.
