School Characteristics
Founded in 1985. As a core of student council activities, UNICEF activities and volunteer efforts such as the "UNICEF Clean-Up Campaign," conducted with the cooperation of School Faculty and Staff, Parents or Guardians, and the local community, are positioned to promote students' social contribution activities.
Additionally, as activities that students engage in voluntarily and proactively, there are (1) efforts at the grade or school level to address bullying issues, and (2) planning and management of events involving mixed-age groups.
Educational Goals
Based on the principles of the Constitution of Japan and the Basic Act on Education, we respect the spirit of human rights and implement educational activities aimed at self-expression, respect for human rights, and international peace, thereby nurturing students who have the strength to live robustly in the future, are self-reliant, and contribute to society. Additionally, we cultivate students who possess the qualities to create a rich life by acquiring the foundations of Lifelong Learning. To achieve this educational goal and nurture students who can lead a happy life throughout their lives, we set forth the following ideal student image.
- Learn, think, and express on your own
- Consider others and work together
- Cultivating strong willpower and physical strength
