Regarding the Start of Use of Electric Vehicle Fast Chargers at Public Facilities in the City
Overview
Based on the "Cooperation Agreement on the Development of Electric Vehicle Charging Facilities" concluded between Inagi City and Terra Charge Co., Ltd. on May 13, 2024, Terra Charge Co., Ltd. will install and operate fast charging facilities for electric vehicles at 8 public facilities in the city. (Electricity charges apply.)
We plan to set up facilities as needed in the future, but first, we will start using the Complex Facility Friend Hirao and the Second Cultural Center.

2 Available Hours
(1) Complex Facility Friend Hirao
Available from April 18, 2025 (Friday) at 8:30 AM.
From 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM (including weekdays, weekends, and holidays)
The year-end and New Year period (from December 29 to January 3) is not available for use.
(2)Second Cultural Center
Available from April 18, 2025 (Friday) at 9:00 AM.
From 9 AM to 7 PM (Monday)
From 9 AM to 10 PM (Tuesday to Saturday)
From 9 AM to 5 PM (Sunday)
National holidays and the New Year period (from December 29 to January 3) are not available for use.
Note: The available hours may change depending on the facility's usage status.
(3) Other Facilities
We will provide information as soon as it is set up.
3 Usage Method
When using the rapid charger, you can charge using either "app usage" or "guest mode".

App Download
App Usage
(1) Download the dedicated Terra Charge app on your smartphone.
(2) Register basic information (name, phone number, etc.) and credit card information within the app.
(3) Launch the app 'Charge Now' and scan the QR code on the rapid charger. (Alternatively, search for the facility name from 'Search Charger' and tap the icon.) Set the charging end time, check the charging duration and charging fee, connect the charging connector, and start charging with the app.
Guest Mode
This is a feature for using the rapid charger without the Terra Charge app. It allows cashless payment through guest mode (by scanning the QR code on the rapid charger itself), and no personal information input is required.
(1) Scan the QR code for guest mode displayed near the charger to open the dedicated page for using guest mode.
(2) Allow the use of the camera and scan the QR code that contains the charger ID starting with TCC, which is attached to the charger.
(3) Connect the charging connector, set the charging end time, select the payment method, and payment will start the charging.
4 Parking Method
(1) Complex Facility Friend Hirao
A. Please park forward if your vehicle has the power supply port on the right side.

For cars with the power supply port on the left side, please park in reverse.

(2)Second Cultural Center
In principle, please park in reverse. Also, when parking, please pay close attention to pedestrians and bicycles.
Note: If there is a power supply port at the front, please park forward if the charging connector cannot reach.

We will provide information as soon as it is set up.
5 Usage Fees
Usage fees set by Terra Charge Co., Ltd. will apply.
90 yen/min (including tax) as of April 2025
Note: Cash payments are not accepted. Payments must be made by credit card. In guest mode, various cashless payment options such as PayPay and Apple Pay are also available. Additionally, the city does not provide any subsidies or reductions for usage fees.

- The electric consumption is calculated by dividing the total electric power by the driving distance on a single charge in WLTC mode.
- Charging time (80%) is the approximate time to charge up to 80% using a fast charger from the point when the battery level warning light is on or flashing.
- The total electric power (80%) is calculated by multiplying the total electric power by 0.8.
- The total driving distance (total electric power (80%)) is calculated by multiplying the driving distance on a single charge in WLTC mode by 0.8.
- The cost per kilometer is calculated by dividing the total amount during charging time (80%) by the total distance traveled (total electric power (80%)).
6 Parking Fees
(1) Inagi City Hall First and Third Parking Lots, Shiroyama Park Central Library Parking Lot, Inagi Central Park Comprehensive Gymnasium West Parking Lot
Parking fees are set according to the regulations concerning the management of parking lots for Public Facilities in Inagi City.
Please note that electric vehicles can typically charge up to 80% of their total power in 30 to 40 minutes, so no discounts are provided.
- Free for less than 1 hour
- For 1 hour to 2 hours: 200 yen
- If it exceeds 2 hours, add 100 yen for each hour up to 200 yen.
- Maximum fee per 24 hours: 1,200 yen (If exceeding 24 hours, an additional 100 yen will be added for each hour beyond 1,200 yen)
(2) Complex Facility Furen Hirao, Second Cultural Center, Shiroyama Cultural Center
Parking fees are free.
(3) Inagi and Fuchu Memorial Park
Parking fees are set according to the regulations concerning the establishment and management of the Inagi-Fuchu Cemetery Association parking lot.
Please note that electric vehicles can typically charge up to 80% of their total power in 30 to 40 minutes, so no discounts are provided.
- Free for less than 1 hour
- For 1 hour to 2 hours: 200 yen

(2) About Usage
- Please use the rapid chargers with a guideline of 30 minutes, sharing and being considerate of others.
- If someone else is using the fast charger, you may have to wait. In that case, please be considerate of those around you.
- Even if the charging is not completed, please make sure to move your vehicle by the parking lot closing time.
- There may be times when you cannot use it due to power outages or equipment inspections.
(3) Precautions When Charging
- If you are using a pacemaker or defibrillator (ICD), please do not approach charging equipment.
- When entering and exiting the charging space, please pay close attention to pedestrians and cooperate with safe driving.
- Please do not operate with wet hands.
- After charging is complete, please remove the charging connector from the vehicle, return the connector to the space next to the rapid charger, and place the cable over it for storage.
- Please move your vehicle promptly after charging is complete.
- For Tesla vehicles, a CHAdeMO compatible charging adapter is required. It is not provided at the facility, so please prepare your own.
(4) Others
- The city will not be held responsible for any accidents, thefts, etc. that occur on the premises.
