What is Rogaining?

This is a sport where teams compete for points by visiting designated checkpoints within a time limit based on a map. As proof of visiting the checkpoints, a photo must be taken that includes all team members except the photographer. Since the points awarded at each checkpoint contribute to the team's score, it is important to devise strategies such as the order in which to visit the checkpoints.
The ability to decide the order of checkpoints and the fact that it is not necessary to visit all checkpoints are the differences from "orienteering."

About the Rules

• Walking and running are the means of transportation, and the use of public transportation such as buses and trains is not allowed.
• Team members must always act together and cannot split up to check the checkpoints (individual participation is also possible).
• If you are late, points will be deducted.

Event Report

The "Inagi Family Rogaining" was held on February 23, 2023 (Thursday).
A total of 52 participants joined us from both inside and outside the city on the day.
The top three participants and one person will receive prizes as the Good Photo Award, and under clear skies, the event was very lively. Thank you to everyone who participated, and great job to all.
