Enter the bamboo grove around the experience study institute and dig for bamboo shoots.

Boys' Day Doll Exhibition
We will display the historic May dolls brought in by the residents of the city at the SHIROYAMA EXPERIENCE STUDY INSTITUE.
In the park, we are also raising koi nobori and banners. Please take a look at the koi nobori gently swaying in the breeze of Kasayato.

Kashiwa Mochi Making (Early May)

On May 5th, for the Children's Day celebration, we will make kashiwa mochi using a traditional mortar and pestle.
Once you pound the rice cake, wrap it in a leaf of oak to complete it.
The children seemed to be having fun making it.

Wheat Threshing (Early June)

We will thresh the wheat grown in the field in front of the experience study institute using an old-fashioned thresher.
In the central round area, there is a drum shaped like a hedgehog, and as the drum rotates, it drops the grains attached to the wheat.
In addition, straw and other materials will be discharged in the front.

Harvest Festival (Early November)

Experience harvesting sweet potatoes and taro grown in the fields around the SHIROYAMA EXPERIENCE STUDY INSTITUE.
In addition, we hold a variety of events such as exhibitions of works.

Hina Doll Exhibition (Late February to Early March)

At the Kasayato Shinsui Park, we will exhibit the hina dolls and related materials submitted by everyone at the Kasayato Green Space Experience Learning Institute.
Please enjoy the "Hinamatsuri" where everyone forgets their age and returns to their childhood.
